Counselling for depression

Two out of three adults experience depression at some time in their lives. Depression can be mild or severe; it may last for weeks or sometimes longer. Symptoms may include:

  • Feeling low, negative, bad
  • Lack of motivation
  • Loss of enjoyment and interest in life
  • Lack of energy, feeling tired
  • Sadness, sometimes crying
  • Feeling worthless
  • Sleeping problems
  • Drug or alcohol misuse
  • Eating disorders
  • Physical symptoms such as palpitations, nausea, headaches
  • Suicidal thoughts

In counselling we will explore the root causes of your depression. Once you understand your feelings you will be able to lift your depression and the associated symptoms will begin to disappear.
